Lori Frola

I am a Pittsburgh-based artist and calligrapher. In my custom work, I strive to make precisely crafted, one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate the connections you share with your loved ones, from special occasions to everyday moments. In my studio practice, I explore the tactile nature of art. I take inspiration from the boundlessness of life around us: the warmth of the summer sun, the memories that dance in and out of thoughts at will, the crunch and crinkle of autumn leaves under your feet. Prior to my career as an artist, I worked as a teacher, recruiter, and community organizer, developing programs to help students build their capacity to achieve their goals.
